How shall we do it? Dunking, sprinkling or pouring? What – if any – evidence of faith is required by the one being baptised? Should it happen as an adult or infant or to one in-between? Can and should a person be re-baptised? How many times could that occur? The Bible is a sure guide for Christians on most matters.

Its all about God and Faith

I have to say actually I am encouraged to share my faith and thoughts and I want to encourage everyone with what one might call “The Somerset Project”. And boy is it a big project, but God is blessing me. To be honest a good portion of my excitement has come from God, Constant keeping in the scriptures, prayer and the sermon that I heard when I went to The First Christian Church last Sunday. Pastor Dan is a wonderful man of God and a true brother. The lesson he gave was a challenging one, it was about sharing your faith no matter where you are at (which is quite fitting for me). He spoke about Phillip and how when he was preaching in Samaria and the fact that he was preaching to crowds of people and evil spirits left people with great shrieks of anguish and people who where sick and crippled where healed and it goes on to say that eveyone hung on to every word he spoke. (Acts 8:4)
