Every day, every moment in a Christian’s life is soaked in spiritual warfare. Whether we’re aware of it or not. I know I struggle with stuff all the time with the attitude that it’s just sort of generic “struggling”; often, I don’t consider the spiritual fight-what’s really taking place. These battles are usually launched by yet another encounter with my sin nature, and they typically begin with a self-demeaning thought.

I tried. I really tried. I picked up a pen and a pad of paper. (I don’t use my computer unless I have to.) I sat down in my comfortable chair facing a bank of windows where a peaceful scene of trees, grass, and sky would help to clear my mind. But any writer will tell you that just because all the elements of a great writing experience exist, doesn’t mean that an idea will come to you in that perfect moment. I have just completed one of the biggest projects of my life at work. We went through a redesign of our entire website so after much kicking, screaming and almost going bald ( I know i have lost quite a few hairs over this) it is finally done with a few minor things being done to it. So hopefully now I will not be so tired coming home and give you my faithful readers more to read.

I have to apologize for myself not writing in here as much lately. It has been a stressful couple of weeks or so. Stressful in a good way though meaning yes my faith has been tested. I have been highly active with my church here with local missions and things and it has been encouraging.  Also my brother and his fiancé are going to have a baby rather soon  (before the end of  April  we think)  and  I have been getting a  baby shower all prepared. I am so excited about this baby and the fact that I am going to be an aunt is the best feeling in the world.

Work also has been another factor. I have been really busy getting things together for a new website to be launched in about a week and a half. But with God’s help I know it is possible to accomplish.

I have also been dealing with a lot of death. In the past two months I have had 4 people that I knew and that were dear to me pass away. That has been rough. The first one was a friend from high school, the second was a cousin of mine, the third was my best friend’s step mother whom I also called “mom,”  and the last one was a friend of mine’s dad.

Again I apologize for not writing so much but then again life has gotten in the way and has not granted me much time. I will just say and be honest that I will write and post whenever I can. So until next time adios.
